Quick Guide: How to Play Dixit<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each round, one player (the <em>Storyteller<\/em>) gives a clue inspired by one of their six surreal image cards. The others submit a card they think matches the clue. Everyone then guesses which card was the original.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Setup (for 4\u20136 players per group):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each player gets 6 cards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One is the Storyteller for the round.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Storyteller picks one card and gives a <strong>short clue<\/strong> (a word, phrase, song lyric, memory, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The others secretly pick one of their cards that best matches the clue and give it to the facilitator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shuffle all submitted cards and reveal them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone (except the Storyteller) guesses which card was the Storyteller\u2019s.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scoring:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If <strong>all or none<\/strong> guess the Storyteller&#8217;s card: <em>0 points<\/em> for Storyteller.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If <strong>some guess it, some don\u2019t<\/strong>: <em>Storyteller and guessers get points<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bonus points for fooling others with your card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep it light: <strong>Scoring is secondary.
